Update...

Today we start packing it in to the studio to begin work on 1 of 2 records.

The first of which will be our mariachi record. 11 stellar tracks - highlights include "qualude quesadilla" and "if you build it, we will paint it"

4 weeks later we pack it back up and move into our own studio that our kick ass record label got us. Big game lodge. To record 11 blast punk tracks.

Highlight include matt vs machine, matt-a dor, and matt-man. We got stuffed animal heads all over the place so you know its got sick tones.

Both records should be released this summer worldwide. Double vinyl of both albums to follow. We are gonna try and do a studio blog or something. But we will prolly never get around to it, and blogs suck anyway.

2 new members have been added

we have begun working on 2 albums worth of material. we will be making 2 different records this time... (and yet both will still be self titled)

record # 1 will be mariachi music (el bronx)
record # 2 will be dead punk (the bronx)

both go well with hot sauce, but yet each has a different bouquet.

we are aiming for an end of summer release date. nasty!

we just found out that for the Soundwaves Festival dates next week, we'll be playing at about 3 in the afternoon, don't sleep in.

we just got a grip of 7 inches that we've made available in our web store. some of which are out of print. get um before they're gone. again. here.

so, we designed a shirt for playboy that is going to be auctioned off and 100% of the proceeds go to AIDS research for lifebeat.org

other groups included
- The Flaming Lips
- Kasabian
- Metric
- Lil Jon
and a bunch more.

that's right. doing something nice. don’t worry - we won't start recycling cans or any tree hugger shit like that. shirt is basically a grip of cigarettes burns into a white shirt with a Bronx pin on it. approx. 250 cigs were harmed in creating this mess.

check out how bad 13 year olds with 4 pubic hairs collectively hate us for doing it here

we will be performing at this years "soundwaves festival" in australia, plus a show in new zealand. since we're traveling halfway around the world, the fine folks that put on the festival are letting us play club shows on the off days. the dates are on the shows page. it's like a taco. carne asada?....or chicken. festival?...or club.

we've posted dates for the UK Kerrang! '07 tour which is going down in january with biffy clyro. dates in the shows section. there's also a bunch of updates to the site - photos, videos, misc junk - have fun with it. we'll be wrapping up social club in the very near future, the last 3 releases in the first series will be done shortly.

it's been a while. lots of this going on in the camp but with the exception of the "Rock To Roll" charity show here in los angeles, we're staying off the road til ought-seven. first, most of us managed to get lice on our last tour and are currently trying to stay away from each other because one person gets rid of it, then gets it again from someone else 2 days later and so on and so forth. we are all writing hit songs about it, "lice suck" and "die lice die" are the frontrunners at the moment. that and touring in the winter has almost killed us. twice. here's a picture of our new face melter Ken "Mochikoshi" Horn being attacked by lice while playing london. thanks to NME for capturing the moment.

regardless of computing preference everyone can now enjoy the video for "White Guilt" courtesy of AOL (click here)
